Open Access Statement
Shandong Science flipped to an open access journal since the 1st issue of 2024. Since then, all articles once published are immediately and permanently available for readers to read and download free of charge on the journal’s website. Articles published between 2010 and 2023 have been converted to open access, and readers can freely access and download them from our website. Articles published before 2010 are not open access. The copyright of these articles is held by the journal’s editorial office, which reserves all rights.
License Policy
Shandong Science uses the Creative Commons license, allowing users to share (i.e., copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format) and adapt (i.e., remix, transform, and build upon the material) under the Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). The licensor cannot revoke these freedoms as long as the license terms below are followed: users must provide appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. Reusers may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses the use. Reusers may not use the material for commercial purposes. Copyright Statement
Once accepted, authors are required to sign a copyright transfer agreement with the editorial office of Shandong Science. Authors agree to automatically transfer the copyright of the article to the editorial office, including, but not limited to, the following rights over all or part of the article: compilation, distribution, reproduction, translation, and dissemination via information networks; permission for indexing and inclusion in domestic and international literature retrieval and database systems; authorization for publication and use in various media, formats, and languages; and use in accordance with the laws of the People’s Republic of China, current or future. Long-Term Archiving
Printed copies of Shandong Science are permanently archived in the National Library of China. Starting from Issue 1 of Volume 23 (2010), all journal articles have been digitally archived and are freely searchable, readable, and downloadable on the journal’s website (https://www.sdkx.net).
Author Self-Archiving
The journal allows authors to store all versions of their articles in institutional or other repositories of their choice. The article's metadata in the repository must include the standardized journal publication information and be cited as the recommended reference.
