This paper addresses classical Jacobi method of eigenvalues calculation of a real symmetric matrix. It converts a real symmetric matrix into a diagonal matrix by a series of orthogonal similarity transformations, and then derives all eigenvalues and their corresponding eigenvectors. The paper presents the formulas of all orthogonal transformations, which are implemented by MATLAB programming. This provides a simple and practical calculation tool for the computation of practical problems.

Sinai quantum billiard is an ideal model to investigate dynamic properties of a microscopic system because it can be used to simulate chaotic properties and the numerical computation is relatively simple. This paper addresses the escape of particles and numerically calculates the collision numbers in escape process with Sinai quantum billiards as a theoretical model. Results indicate the significance of initial conditions for escape. We employ a simplified box-counting approach to calculate the fractal dimensions that are corresponding to different gate voltages and different aperture widths. We also analyze the influences of gate voltage and aperture width in Sinal quantum billiards on chaotic behaviors.

We also obtain their minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC). Results show that carboxylic acid and its cerium complexes have stronger bacteriostasis activity the bacteriostasis activity of its cerium complexes is higher than that of the dual ligand and lower than that of the unitary ligand.

We employed pH-zone refining counter-current chromatography to prepare high-purity sinoacutine from Stephania kwangsiensis. Its solvent system was composed of petroleum ether-ethyl acetate-methanol water (3:7:1:9, V/V), in which triethylamine (10 mmol/L) was added to the upper organic stationary phase as a retainer and hydrochloric acid (10 mmol/L) was added to the aqueous mobile phase as an eluter. The structure of sinoautine was identified by ESI-MS,1H NMR and 13C NMR. The purity of sinoacutine determined by RP-HPLC was 99.5%. This approach has such advantages as high-efficiency and high-purity, suitable for the preparation of large amount of sinoacutine.

Orthogonal experiments show that the optimal technological conditions of this extraction method are temperature of 60 ℃, pressure of 25 MPa , sample particle size of 40~60 mesh and 50 times amplification of a preparative supercritical fluid extraction (SFE) system. We separated and purified imperatorin and isoimperatorin with high-speed counter-current chromatography and a two-phase solvent system of 1:0.4:1.1:0.5 (n-hexane-ethyl vs. acetate vs. methanol vs. water, V/V). We also employed HPLC-DAD and MS to perform quantative and qualitive analysis for imperatorin and isoimperatorin. The purities of them were both above 99.0%.The method is convenient and fast, with a high reproducibility.

We employed electrostatic layer-by-layer self-assembly method to coat poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride) (PDDA)/poly(sodium styrenesulfonate) (PSS) films on the surface of a long-period fiber grating (LPFG), and addressed their response to the humidity of air. Experimental results show that the central wavelengths in the transmission spectrum gradually shift to long wave with the increase of absolute humidity. A good linear relationship exists between absolute humidity and the central wavelength in the range of 25~45 ℃. A PDDA/PSS coated LPFG therefore has potential application prospect in a humidity sensor.

Zebrafish embryo is highly sensitive to chemical exposure and has much unique superiority over other animal models, so it is widely applied in toxicology. Besides chemical concentration, many other influences, such as chorion barrier, embryo exposure time, chemical characteristics and the interaction between different chemicals, should also be considered. Assessment methods of embryo toxicity are evolving from morphologic observation to molecular research, more emphasis on chemical mechanism. This makes zebrafish embryo have higher specificity and sensitivity in the toxicity detection.

This approach has such advantages as simplicity, rapidity, good reproducibility and sensitivity, especially suitable for the determination of milk protein.

This paper presents a multi reflection transmission method based atmospheric visibility measurement system in view of such disadvantages as big area occupation and no obstruction on a long-distance lightpath for a traditional  transmission  visibility meter. The system employs an array of reflectors to construct an open air chamber and to achieve the needed optical distance, which can reserve high-precision visibility detection of transmission method and dramatically decrease area occupation. The system also employs a displacement regulator to achieve differential measurement of  atmospheric  extinction coefficient. The system has such unique advantages as strong contamination resistance capability and adjustable measurement sensitivity. Its accuracy estimation proves that its design method is feasible and a new  method  is provided for visibility measurement.

This paper improves a phase transform weighting function (PHAT) by weakening the noise cross spectrum, weighting signal tonoise ratio and applying the coherence function in view of the negative influence of the sensitivity of generalized cross correlation-phase transform (GCC-PHAT) algorithm to noise effect.  We therefore acquired an improved phase transform weighting function (IPHAT) to facilitate the more accurate estimation of time arrival difference in the effect of noise. Vast experiments prove the effectiveness of the presented algorithm.

An industrial computer and a PLC exist in this instance, which constitute an upper and a lower computer control system. The functionalities of the upper computer are instruction control and information management, while the lower computer is responsible for logic control. The upper computer and the lower computer communicate through a free port and a user can devise a communications protocol by himself, which make system control be more flexible and convenient. Practical application indicates that such design can implement automatic palletizing, and also has such advantages as better reliability and stability.

We constructed a universal traditional Chinese medicine information resources management platform with role-based access control (RBAC) technology. We introduced the concept of a role, an intermediate, into the platform and performed universal identity authentication based role access control for different resources. We also defined each sub-module as a database role which had the same authority as a sub-module, and then distributed these roles to all users. The platform is secure, easy to be managed, and has good transferability and scalability. It therefore receives better favor from many users.

We collect the received signal strength values of a node at different positions in a wireless sensor network. We then employ Elman neural networks to construct a mapping model relationship between received signal strength and radio wave propagation path distance. We therefore can train such neural networks with the collected signal strength before detect distance with the well trained neural networks. Experimental results show that this approach has better ranging capability.

This article designed a face detecting and cutting system based on skincolor space and integral projection. Firstly, this article set skin color model from the input image. In this step, a part of the skin area sample is selected, upper limit and lower limit of chroma threshold by experimental statistics is determined, and then the skin area is cutout by “double threshold” methods. Secondly, morphological process binarization image is carried out. Finally, integral horizontal projection and vertical projection are made, the skin area is determined by locating eyes, and the image is cut in accordance with the requirements. In condition that input images are limited to “contain single bareheaded face, face clear, expression natural and solemn”, our detection accuracy is above 96%. This system has strong practicability, and is easy to operate.
