Abstract:

We performed a preliminary analysis of gastrointestinal toxicity of aspirin through analysis of peristalsis, detection of secretion functionality of gastrointestinal endothelial cells and histomorphology of intestinal mucosa with zebrafish as animal model. We discover that aspirin concentration of 50 μg/mL can improve the peristalsis. Aspirin concentration of 50 μg/mL or 100 μg/mL will impair secretion functionality of goblet cells on intestinal mucosa though routine HE staining among intestinal mucosa does not change.
