Abstract:

We theoretically investigated the cubic dynamics characteristics of the reaction He+H2+ with quasiclassical trajectory (QCT) method and a new potential energy surface (PES). Results show that integral section fits well with the experimental results. Product HeH+ demonstrates different rotational polarization characteristics for different collision energies. Its rotational angular momentum vectors j′ are not only aligned, but also oriental. Product HeH+ tends to be scattered forward with the increase of collision energy.

Key words: vector correlation, dynamics, collision energy, quasi-classical trajectory method
