Analysis of flow, heat transfer and entropy generation for flow across inline and staggered square micro pins in a channel

Abstract: We employed numerical simulation to investigate flow, heat transfer and entropy generation for liquid water flowing across staggered and inline arranged micro pin fins. Results show that the entropy generation of inline and staggered micro pin fins are approximate when Re≤50.However, the difference between flow entropy generation and heat transfer entropy generation gradually increases for 50
