Research on pollen submorphology of Lilium

Abstract:

        We investigate pollen morphology of 3 species and 1 variety of Lilium L.with scanning electron microscope (SEM). Results show that these pollen grains are ellipse and monocolpate and that significant distinction exists in size and exine sculpture among different species.
