Abstract: Focusing on the optimization of a building-type natural gas distributed energy system, in this study, the dynamic electric load averaging algorithm and multidimensional iterative algorithm were combined to determine the capacity of a basic generator set. The optimal power range of the generator set was determined to be 2297~2477 kW. Results of the analysis of the project’s energy consumption showed that the primary energy saving ratio of the optimized model increased by 14.3%, the economic cost of energy increased by 20.14%~20.85%, and the comprehensive energy utilization rate was greater than 70%.

Key words: distributed energy system, dynamic load, system optimization, capacity configuration
