Abstract:

Quite complicated co-evolution process exists between urban road surface and traffic. This paper constructs their co-evolution model based on constrained capacity. We also perform its stability analysis and simulation. Results demonstrate that the co-evolution model is steady and can reach balance under mutual feedback. Furthermore, parameter control adjustment can coordinate the co-evolution process.

Key words: limited capacity, road surface, urban traffic, co-evolution
