Abstract:
We present a new traffic flow lattice hydrodynamic model with the impact of nextnearestneighbor site on traffic and continuous traffic lattice model. We also acquire traffic stability condition and mKdV equation expressing density waves with linear stability theory and nonlinear analysis. Numerical simulation shows that the new model can better depict traffic stability mechanism and be more suitable for real traffic flow.
