Research on smoke monitoring system based on multi-rotor unmanned aerial vehicle

Abstract: A multi-rotor UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle)monitoring system with gas sensors is constructed in this paper. It can realize rapid sampling of fixed pollution sources, and the real-time data is transferred. It is facilitate to identify the pollutant emissions rapidly and accurately. The monitoring example of a power plant shows that the system can better complete navigation, hovering, monitoring and return. It can collect environmental information at specified height and location. The monitoring method in this paper can provide a feasible solution for monitoring and obtaining evidence of fixed pollution sources.
