We employ a Linux based embedded database to implement realtime data collection, remote access and maintenance in a vehicle borne remote surveillance system. This paper transplants embedded Web Server BOA and embedded database SQLite onto the platform, S3C2440. This paper also addresses the application of SQLite in real time data collection with a serial communications program as an example.
